DWAYNE PROHASKI
In 1996 Chuck passed the Maid-Rite ownership over to Dwayne Prohaski.
Dwayne dropped the franchise name and Shill's Maid-Rite became Pro's Sandwich Shop.
The Maid-Rite sandwich is now called a Beef Delight due to dropping the franchise name.
CHUCK SHILL
Shill's Maid-Rite, under the Maid-Rite franchise, opened in 1968 on the north end of Mason City, Iowa.
He then bought a new location (the one we still operate in today) in 1978 to continue serving the community in a larger space.
LOIS AND ALLEN AWE
Taking over in 2014, Lois and Allen adapted the name Awe'z Sandwich Shop to carry on the tradition.
The family atmosphere remains, because some are literally family!
Lois and Allen's daughter Jennifer is the manager, Lois' sister, Debbie, is a waitress at the shop, along with their grandaughter-in-law.
